Taezaz Berhe is a principal with CMA Group and has been with the firm since its formation.
Taezaz specializes in providing financial statement and compliance audits, compilation and review services, and advisory services to our clients in various industries including the nonprofit and government sector, architectural and engineering firms, professional services firms, and other small businesses. He also provides Information Systems audit and general control reviews as part of the financial statement audits. During his broad professional career, which extends for over 25 years, he has helped clients with auditing, accounting, tax and advisory services.
Taezaz’s expertise includes his extensive knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and he has helped our government contractors and State DOT clients. For over 15 years he has provided incurred cost audits and FAR overhead rate audits, in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the guidelines established by the American Association of State and Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO), to our architectural and engineering firms and various governmental and State DOT clients nation-wide. He has also provided consulting and advisory services to assist firms establish and maintain a FAR compliant accounting system. His extensive experience and knowledge in the field has earned him the respect from his peers.
Taezaz is committed to giving back to the community and he has been actively involved in local religious and community organizations.
